Design Coordinator (Architectural Projects)

Job Site: Allston, MA

Job Content:

• Project Planning: Feasibility studies, schedules, zoning & building code analysis. 

• Architectural Plans & Specifications: Oversee and implement all phases of the architectural process including CD specifications for approved projects including plans, MEP intent, FF &E; Rendering production a plus. 

• Project Management:  Coordinate with clients and affiliates to ensure adherence to plans and specifications; perform value engineering and oversee construction administration. 

• Construction Budget:  Established and monitor project budgets at each phase of the architectural budget; review and coordinate costs and schedules; supply information to clients and affiliates regarding capital construction planning and budget request. 

• Software Customization:  Coding Grasshopper algorithm for automation parametric model generation process in CAD software.  Rhino3D + Grasshopper: Extensive expertise. 

Software requirements: AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Grasshopper, MS Office, Revit, Rhino 3D, Vray.

Educational requirements:  B Arch + 2 years related architectural design & programming experience.
